Palliative Care & Chronic Home Based Care Course Overview
This skills programme comprises of three unit standards which are extracted from the full Qualification of Community Health Work NQF level 2 and has a total of 25 credits. The duration of this course is three months. It comprises of theory, practical and workplace training.
The purpose of this skills programme is to multi skill learners in Palliative and Chronic Home Based Care at NQF Level 1-2 so that they are able to provide correct information and assistance to communities needing this Skill. Moreover, to integrate theory and practical in a way that is relevant and applicable to their everyday lives.
