Occupational skills programme in Intermediate Emergency First Aid Responder (SP- 230802); NQF level 3

Intermediate Emergency First Aid Responder, the person qualified in this skills programme will be equipped with effective application of intermediate emergency first aid and the ability to recognise emergencies, injuries, illnesses and treat appropriately using intermediate emergency first aid. The duration of the training is four days theory and five days practical. With the intermediate Emergency First aid responder certificate a person will be able to provide life-saving treatment, manage incident scenes, coordinate with emergency services, and offer patient and family support in both workplace and community settings. Entry requirement: Skills Certificate in Basic Emergency First Aid Responder, NQF Level 2.
